Hi Friends, You are aware of the filter key function in Excel, but very few people use the advanced filter, which can be used to filter unique values from data in a column. So, lets see how to generate unique values in a column in Excel. Lets get into example now. Here we have different names in Column B 1. Go to Data tab in the menu bar, click on Advanced Filter. 2. Under Action : select Copy to another location. 3. Under list range : select B4:B16 4. Under Copy to : select F4 5. Tick the checkbox: Unique records only. 6. Click OK. Excel will copy the unique names from the source column into the new location. It will even paste those entries with the same formatting as shown.
