Tips and Tricks in using MS Word

We do understand that we face some problems while working with MS Word. Here I am mentioning some tips and tricks which can solve some of our problems and makes us efficient. Tips and Tricks: To select the complete sentence:  Click anywhere in a sentence, Hold the Ctrl key and then click the left button on your mouse. To select entire paragraph:  Make three clicks anywhere in the paragraph. To create a Line:  Type three hyphens and click enter key on your key board. To Erase the complete Word:  Press the Ctrl key and click backspace to remove the entire word in a single click. In this Chapter, let us understand about Resources, Codes and Roles. Resources include manpower, material and non-material that perform tasks to complete any project. These Resources can be further assigned to different levels of activities in projects. You can create a Resource database in a hierarchy to reflect particular organization’s resources. To these resources, codes can be established which will help you in grouping, filtering and sorting. Most importantly, you can setup roles with specific skill sets, which can be used as resource assignments. Primavera P6 Tutorial : Chapter 2.2: EPS, OBS

In this Chapter, let us understand Enterprise Project Structure (EPS) and Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS), and how to develop, create and add them in Primavera . Enterprise Project Structure (EPS)  is nothing but a cluster of projects. Database of projects arranged in a hierarchy is called as EPS. EPS can be sub-divided into many levels or nodes as needs to work parallel. Projects are the lowest level of hierarchy in EPS structure. You can summarize the projects for each node in the EPS. To View EPS:  On the Home Screen, click on the Projects tab to view the EPS nodes/ Projects. To Create/Modify EPS:  Go to Menu Bar and select Enterprise>> Enterprise Project Structure... and then in the next window click on Add to add any EPS Node and use the arrows to adjust the level of node. Lets first see how to install the Primavera tool into your system. This will guide you through setting up the PM Module on your computer. Once the Installation is done, Click start, choose All Programs, Oracle - Primaver P6, Project Management. Log In using the valid login name and password and then select,accept the database and click OK 2.
