Scanned to word

We Sometimes face problem in creating an editable document from the scanned pages or pdfs. Now, there is an option to convert these scanned docs to editable docs without typing using the following options.

1. Capture2Text tool  which can be downloaded from net for free. This toll can be used using the shortcuts provided, you can go to the preferences option after installing the software and create a shortcut to convert the scanned doc. so that when you open any scanned image, you can press the shortcut to directly convert the document.

2. www.onlineocr.net - There is an online web service for the viewers who would not like to download,  install softwares. You have to just upload the image and convert the document in to editable text format. Click on the Download Output file and save on to your system.

3. Free OCR to Word- Try this application if your are using the scanner all the time.There are options to scan, open the image file and select OCR to preview the text format on the right hand side of the screen. Save option is visible for saving the document in text format.
