How to Change the Calender in Primavera in the middle of the project

Hi, Lets see How we can change the Calendar once the schedule is prepared.
As per the Scheduling Philosophy, Calendar has to be set before beginning the schedule preparation.

To set the Default calendar,

Step 1:

Go to Enterprise>>Calendars,

Step 2:

Tick the Calendar which you want to make it default,

Step 3:

If you want to further change the timings and work weeks, click on Modify


Step 4:

Click on Work Weeks and Change the Time periods for the work hours in the default calendar

Step 5:

After Creating th Schedule, in the middle of the schedule, if you want to change the calendar  for the activities that you enter further, Go to Details tab>>Defaults Tab>>It will show the default calendar, if you want to change the calendar, select the calendar clicking the bubble.

If you want to Change the Calendar of all the activities once the schedule is prepared, to see the impact of changing the calendars.

Step 1:

Open the project, Right Click on any activity and select Columns,

 Find (Ctrl+F) and type in Calendar and select the calendar, and click on OK
- To insert the calendar column.



Step 2:

Select the top most cell in the calendar column and press the Shift key on the keyboard and Select the bottom most cell of the Calendar column, right click and select the Fill down option- to change the calendars for all the activities of the schedule.




Doing this, the default calendar will be shown only for the WBS,but the calendars for the activities get changed.
